BPP ALUMNI LEGACY NETWORK EDUCATIONAL SESSION

This is the beginning of Black History Month. The term 'History' literally means a branch of knowledge dealing with past events. Why is it necessary to examine past events and the people who shaped them? Can we learn from their experiences? Together we will answer these questions and more. Survival in 2022 is our theme and our beginning series is focused on Education "to be or not to be" in the lives of black and brown children.

Last Saturday we took a brief look at the contradictions in the educational system. This week we will touch on the concept of contradiction versus transformation. Is it possible to define a phenomenon and make it act in a desired manner? We are looking forward to you joining and participating with us in this thought-provoking and informative session. Bring your appetite for learning with you!
