BPP ALUMNI LEGACY NETWORK EDUCATIONAL SESSION

Greetings to all network session participants!

Last week we began the series 'Surviving in 2022 - from problems to solutions'. We began with looking at the state of health care and looked at how historically the Black Panther Party revolutionized healthcare in America by not only serving a neglected and disenfranchised people but also set the precedent by overcoming insurmountable odds and adverse conditions that created solutions to existing problems. Are solutions of the past functional for today? This week we will look at the 'Black and Brown students' Crisis in Education. Why is there such a learning disparity? We will examine that question and more.

We will view several short videos that address different issues concerning the education gap and discuss the content of the videos for clarity on the messages they are trying to convey. In order to create a workable solution, you must thoroughly understand the problem.
