We hope you are ready for another exciting theme as we continue our series 'Survival in 2022'. During the month of April our Theme is 'Black Culture and Politics.’ We are covering various subject areas this month - black music and politics, black art and politics, performing artists and politics, poetry/rap and politics, literature/journalism and politics, black athletes/sports and politics.

How has the Politics of America affected our participation, creative abilities and influence in our communities and beyond? Has the influence of Black Culture in America been positive or negative? These and many other thought-provoking questions you and other participants bring forward will be answered. This week we will begin with Black Music and Politics. Black Culture is the Culture of America!
