BPP ALUMNI LEGACY NETWORK EDUCATION SESSION

This month is Women's Herstory Month. This is part of our ongoing series "Survival in 2022." Last week we began with Black women in Education. Our guest speaker Dr. Maryam K. Aziz Ph.D in American Culture University of Michigan gave a powerful and educational presentation!

In this week's educational session we will highlight the accomplishments of Black Women in S.T.E.M. past and present. Many of you may remember the Movie 'Hidden Figures' the story of Black women mathematicians called computers who worked at N.A.S.A. to help America during the Space Race. Taraji P. Henson played the role of one of the real 'Hidden Figures' - Katherine Gobe Johnson - who has joined the ancestors. The next best thing to hearing and seeing her in person is the opportunity to see and hear some personal interviews she did about the truth of her work. We have that and more. This is something you don't want to miss!
