BPP ALUMNI LEGACY NETWORK EDUCATIONAL SESSION

Many of you have had the opportunity to hear some thoughtful, provocative, enlightening, and amazing stories, through our series “seeing it through our eyes, walking in our shoes and hearing it from our mouths” from original Party members both men and women who were present during the origins of their chapters and branches all across America. We have concluded our national tour for now .

We are bringing it home to the West Coast and have landed in San Francisco `the first branch outside of Oakland established in 1967. This week we are in for a triple treat!! We have three extraordinary women who will be presenting this week in their own way their experience with the Black Panther Party in San Francisco. Sister Lauryn Williams Jackson and sister Katherine Campbell will talk about the work of the San Francisco Branch and Sister Zafirah Jamelah Ned will give her perspective on the work of the party as a receiver of the benefits of the programs initiated by the San Francisco Branch. Get ready for a great session of shared experience and knowledge!
