BPP ALUMNI LEGACY EDUCATIONAL SESSION

Last week we touched on the true meaning of Juneteenth, a day of reflection and the new forms of oppression that came with it. Here we are in the last week of June and we are at the halfway point of 2022. A lot has happened this year and we know there is a lot more to come. We decided we would dedicate this last week of June for OPPRESSION IN CARTEL MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS PART 2. How do we determine what is fact and what is fiction in what we hear, and see? What are some of the obstacles we face in defining Truth vs Misinformation and Disinformation? Are Black and Brown people portrayed in Media and Communications in a positive or negative way? These are a few questions we will answer with your input and participation.

We have some great music and topic videos that will aid us in defining the multi layers of OPPRESSION that exist in the Media and Communications world. Now that you know, let's get ready to go!
