This Saturday class will focus on revolutionary art its relevance, application and impact on the community as an educational tool to raise awareness and participation. Was it effective then? Is it effect now? How is it relevant today to the BPP Alumni Legacy Network? We will be examining part 3 of the revolutionary art work by Emory Douglas (former Minister of Culture of the BPP) to interpret the visual messages and how the art raised the consciousness of black and oppressed communities.
