BPP ALUMNI LEGACY EDUCATIONAL SESSION

This month of July has been dedicated to the student movement for social justice and Revolutionary change. In the weeks past we took a brief look at the other participants in the student movement from the 60s and 70s that represented Brown, Asian, Native American, Foreign and progressive White students. This last week of July our topic is the Student movement then and now. We will compare student activities and issues then and where the student movement and issues have gone today. Are the issues students face the same today? Have Black and Brown Students today benefited from the activities of the past? Has the educational system listened and changed their ways? Are Black and Brown students benefiting from the educational system today? Food for thought. Bring your own utensils to cut it up to participate in this knowledge feast. As usual we will have some great support material and participant input. Let's connect the dots!
