BPP ALUMNI LEGACY EDUCATIONAL SESSION

In the last 4 to 5 weeks we have covered the youth and student movement from the 60s and 70s up to the present. We also peeked in the classroom to verify a small portions of the tactics used in the miseducation, and criminalization of Black and Brown Students in America and the connection with youth and student movements around the world, not only fighting for an education that teaches truth to power but also getting involved in social issues that affect the wellbeing of their families and their communities. Power does not concede without demand! Anytime you push you will get the Big Push Back from those that are denying you true freedom and self determination.

This week our topic series is American Repression: Enemy of the people! Why do we constantly go back to the very people who foster repression against us and ask them for help? Are Black and Brown People caught up in the Stockholm syndrome? What is our way out of this mental slavery? These questions and more should enhance your educational appetite. You know we are bringing more than the topic to the table in order to connect some dots with your participation that will help everyone see the big picture.

"In order to Educate the people we must first Educate ourselves"
