education
Point #5. We want decent education for our people that exposes the true nature of this decadent American society. We want education that teaches us our true history and our role in the present-day society.
Dr Saturu Ned, a beloved educator from the pioneering days of the Black Panthers’ Oakland Community School, regularly conducts school visits, presentations, and walk & talk sessions with student groups. In general, for in-school visits, an honorarium fee of $500 is requested for a one hour long presentation (flexible) with additional driver/travel compensation for anywhere outside the East Bay, CA.
We are able to accommodate any subject matter during our presentation. Our team have created presentations for student groups encompassing the following topics: Ethnic Studies, African-American History, Civil Rights, Social Justice Studies, Solidarity and Collaborative Efforts, Bringing Communities Together, Anti-War movement, and many more.
Please note that on Black History Month (February) and Black Panther Party History Month (October), school visits are popular and are reserved quickly. Be sure to book your time early!
The Black Panther elders are the last living links of that era who are experts within the field of revolutionary science - book your session to provide invaluable lessons that educate to liberate.
