The Martial Arts Demonstration & Community Tribute honors Professor Steve “Lil’ Masai” McCutchen, founder of the Oakland Community Learning Center’s Martial Arts Program and an early member of the Black Panther Party. This special event celebrates his lifelong commitment to discipline, education, and empowerment through the martial arts.

Held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 4–7 PM at ICAF Oakland (2513 Magnolia St, Oakland, CA), the program features martial arts demonstrations by youth and adults, cultural performances, and reflections on Lil’ Masai’s revolutionary legacy.
